A message from the Affinity team
I’ve put together this detailed guide to Affinity Designer and Adobe Illustrator. Both are two of the best software programs for graphic designers. In this article, we will take a look at Affinity Designer as an alternative to Adobe Illustrator for designing vectors in motion design. Similar to Illustrator, Affinity gives you the ability to use the Shift key to constrain the proportions of the shape while dragging (useful when creating squares, perfect circles, etc.), and/or the Control key to draw or resize the shape from the center out.
As a way to lend support to the creative community during these difficult times, we’re once again offering a 90-day free trial of the Mac and Windows versions of the whole Affinity suite, for anyone who wants to use them (even those who have previously completed a free trial). We’re also bringing back the 50% discount for those who would prefer to buy and keep the apps, including our iPad versions.
